Originated from the Himalayas and adopted by Buddhism, “singing bowls” are used to lead human spirits from materialistic world into spiritual path. In Buddhism, monks play it at as a notion of change in activity or to mark a beginning and ending time of a meditation.
Mainly singing bowls are manufactured in Silk Road of Nepal, which connects it with the Tibet. But also these days you can find in other countries like Japan, India and China.
The pleasant sound and a mystical character of singing bowl have drawn many people’s attraction. It has a single note and if your playing it, no matter how much you’re driven into negative vibe, it can help you to overcome your thoughts into something pure and harmonic state of mind.
